Established in 2019, the Surf Coast Roller Skaters are more than just a school. We are a community of friendly humans committed to helping others feel fit, confident & happy.
We believe that self-expression, facing fears & overcoming obstacles are crucial life skills that help us in other areas of our lives.
Skating is an easily accessible way to improve people’s mental health and fitness.
Our team of workshop leaders creates a safe, inclusive environment to empower anyone towards feeling confident enough to include skating as part of their regular exercise and mindfulness practice.
Each class is tailored to different levels and abilities as per the individuals’ experiences.
All classes will improve your fitness through strength, balance and cardio. We design the classes to be lots of fun and encourage self-expression.
This can be through :
Everyone should be able to enjoy skating. We encourage anyone who may have extra requirements to allow them to participate to get in touch and we can work with you to create a tailored and personalised skate experience.
Most importantly, we wholeheartedly welcome the LGBTQIA+ community and all Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islanders when accessing classes.
Appreciating this is a challenging time for many people, we encourage potential participants to get in touch to discuss payment/payment plans.
