Why The Wholefoods Crew

The Wholefoods Crew was created for the home cook who doesn’t like ‘Mystery Boxes’. Sometimes we don’t need a turnip, kale, or silverbeet each week. Or you have small children who change their eating habits weekly. So many people follow specific food protocols that can be tricky or wasteful with a Mystery Box. There are a wide range of variables that were pointing to this situation. We have created our business to be just that.

Pick and choose exactly what you like, and get exactly what you need. Minimising waste, reducing costs & the stress of unwanted produce.

Delivery

Delivery is available across Greater Geelong, Surfcoast, Bellarine & parts of The Great Ocean Road. Post codes 3216 – 3221 have delivery available 7 days a week, including a 3-hour delivery option. The rest of Geelong, Surfcoast, & Bellarine have Friday deliveries. We venture down the Great Ocean Road very early Thursday mornings, making our way from Anglesea, Aireys Inlet, Fairhaven, Lorne, Deans Marsh & then inland to Colac. This offering evolves with us, so best to check our website for the most up to date information. There is also a chat box on website that comes straight to us, the owners of The Wholefoods Crew. About our Suppliers

In the early days of planning this new venture we connected with an amazing local Farmer Joe Sgro of Foothills Organic. He was instantly like family & took us under his wing, showing us the ropes of the organic produce industry. Foothills Organic is based just outside of Colac, they are our main grower & we try to source as much of their produce as possible. Knowing that their produce is Organic Certified and they employ a lot of locals, gives us peace of mind and confidence to support this amazing grower.

Who We Are

This amazing venture is owned & operated by Elmo & Lana. As we like to say Elmo is the beauty & Lana is the brains behind The Wholefoods Crew.

Elmo is a sound engineer & has travelled internationally with artists. His days of packing a tour van are being relived while he plans delivery routes and packs the delivery vehicle.

Lana is a former sommelier & restaurateur from Canada. While the accent is still very strong she takes pride in living in this beautiful part of Australia that we all call home. Attention to detail, fine tuning website, customer service & ordering stock; all these strengths are shining strong as she supports The Wholefoods Crew.

Local to Geelong with their 2 children & 9 chickens, these two are helping the community with their new service.
